Dating Again is HARD WORK!

Well, to the 3 or 4 of you that read this, I went on my first official date (after the "d") this past weekend. As far as first dates go, it was that batch of nervousness, uncertainty as to what to do (whether to hold hands, put my arm around her, give her a hug, etc.), and everything else that first dates are...that I probably looked like a buffoon to her. I guess it's a good thing that we had planned and agreed to a 2nd date before hand, or she probably wouldn't have agreed to it by the end of the date. She's nice, though, and we'll just have to wait and see how date #2 goes....

Personal note: Do NOT plan an activity you've never done as a first date! Big mistake! Went to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and I found myself trying to concentrate both on her and the fish. Not a good idea! Doesn't work too well.

Anyway, at least I am trying to get back into living again....

What a Labor Day Weekend!

Well, I decided to take my vacation for the year and head out west to the Grand Canyon. However, since I really couldn't afford to take the excursion type tour to see it, I decided to look at a helicopter tour. That was probably one of the best things I've ever done! That was so amazing, I can't wait to see the pictures I took! Anyway, I'm heading home today and it'll be nice to be sleeping in my own bed again!
